Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between XR, VR, AR, and MR?

XR (Extended Reality) is the umbrella term for all immersive technology. VR (virtual reality) fully immerses you in a digital environment; AR (augmented reality) overlays digital content onto the real world; MR (mixed reality) lets digital and physical elements interact live. Our productions are primarily VR and immersive video, built for headsets like Apple Vision Pro rather than a flat screen.

What's the difference between 360° video and true immersive/VR video?

360° video lets you look around a scene, but it's flat — there's no real sense of depth. True immersive video, like what we shoot on the Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive, captures stereoscopic 3D with spatial audio, so you perceive real depth and scale, as if you're standing in the scene rather than watching it.

What equipment and formats do you shoot and deliver in?

We produce in Apple Immersive Video format, captured on the Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive camera and finished in DaVinci Resolve. Final deliverables are optimized for Apple Vision Pro, with other headset formats available depending on the project.

How do I watch or experience the finished content?

Immersive productions are viewed through a headset — currently Apple Vision Pro for our Apple Immersive Video work. We can advise on the best distribution path for your project, whether that's a private screening, festival submission, or app-based delivery.
